Teaching for Tomorrow-21st c

More and more technology is available for students, but it is secondary to the importance to problem-solving skills. We don't want to become a "highly educated useless person," skilled in doing school-related tasks, but lacking the abilities necessary to solve problems independently in a real-world environment. We need to shift in the way we present material students. We still need to teach the content necessary within a new way to learn real-world problem solving skills.

Great summary of the chapter from "Teaching for Tomorrow." You also did a great job with your summary of "A Whole New Mind" today... great visuals that went far along with what you spoke about. Don't worry... you'll NEVER be a "highly educated useless person" in my book! :)
